How I put together my IFAK as well as prep my feet for yomping / rucking & long distance runs
The video is something I’ll send to members of Op Rebuild that either yomp or run as part of their programme, or those who join us on our adventure training days
I’m not precious about this content as it’s more of a free bonus - rather than it being a part of the member’s course
Yomping / Rucking & long distance runs bring their own challenges… be that due to the volume, the load carried, the terrain or even the weather conditions
These challenges are part of the fun… or ‘type 2 fun’… if you know what I mean!?
Dealing with the hardship that comes with this method of training is character building and yields a sense of achievement as well as helping you appreciate the small things such as a hot wet, fresh socks and a shower
But one challenge that is totally avoidable is that brought on by poor admin and lack of preparation…. Resulting in blisters or hotspots!
